Harry Maguire may be heading to Man United’s rivals this summer

Harry Maguire may be heading to Man United’s rivals this summer. West Ham United, led by manager David Moyes, has set their sights on acquiring Manchester United captain Harry Maguire.

Maguire’s future with Manchester United has become uncertain since he lost his starting position under Erik Ten Hag last season.

While there have been reports suggesting that the former Leicester City defender intends to remain at Old Trafford and fight for his place, it is evident that the 30-year-old will have a limited role in Erik ten Hag’s squad.

Currently, Maguire finds himself behind Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, and Victor Lindelof in the defensive pecking order, prompting Manchester United to consider selling him. The Red Devils are open to offers for the England international.

According to The Telegraph, West Ham is considering making a move to secure Maguire’s services during this summer transfer window.

The Hammers are looking to bolster their squad, especially after the departure of Declan Rice, and are exploring the possibility of a loan deal.

However, Manchester United is more inclined towards a permanent sale of the center-back.
