List of Petitions against Tinubu to Be Decided On Wednesday by Presidential Election Tribunal The Presidential Election Petition Tribunal (PEPT) informed the public on Monday that the date for the final judgement on the petitions challenging President Bola Tinubu’s win in the 2023 presidential election has been set for Wednesday, September 6.

The panel would rule on the following applications, according to the statement.

1. CA/PEPC/03/23 between Mr. Peter Obi of the Labour Party vs. the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and three others.

2. CA/PEPC/04/2023 between the Allied Peoples Movement vs. the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and four others.

3. CA/PEPC/05/23 between Abubakar Atiku of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) vs. the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and two others.

The announcement stated that all judgments would be aired live, but that access to the court premises would be strictly limited to accredited persons, attorneys, and representatives of political parties.

The Registrar requested the utmost assistance from members of the public in order to ensure a smooth procedure.

It should be noted that the five-member presidential election tribunal, presided over by Justice Haruna Simon Tsamani, had already adopted the final written addresses of the parties engaged in the dispute ahead of the judgment delivery, which has now been scheduled for Wednesday.
